Scarlett Johansson was born on 22 November 1984 in New York City, USA and is of Danish, Polish, and Jewish descendant. The youngest daughter of Karsten and Melanie Johansson, Scarlett grew up happily alongside her twin brother, Hunter; two other siblings, Adrian and Vanessa; and an older half brother called Christian. She earned her first role at the age of 8 in the off-Broadway production of "Sophistry" and made her big screen debut in "North" (1994).
